process + principals
The diagnostics-first process.
How we go from stagnant marketing to a clear 30-day action plan.
These steps and guidelines come from nearly four decades of doing this work. The business owners who read this and nod along are almost always the ones I do my best work for.
The three core phases.
01
Diagnose (Days 1–3)
We don’t guess. We start with The Blueprint™. After a focused 60-minute session, I audit your digital presence, find your top 3 roadblocks, and hand you the strategic solutions within 3 business days.
02
Align (The Scope)
If we qualify to work together, your $950 Blueprint investment is credited directly into your production account. We lock in your transparent project scope and set our delivery milestones.
03
Execute (The Production)
Because I handle the copy, layout, and technical deployment myself, we bypass agency bloat. Your project is built with rapid precision, engineered to meet strict digital and print specifications flawlessly.
The rules of engagement.
01
Momentum is mutual.
I stick to strict milestones on my end, and I expect the same from you. When copy, photos, or approvals stall on your side, the whole project pauses and the timeline shifts. Clear communication keeps us on track; radio silence delays your launch.
02
Assets are required upfront.
To give your project my full, focused attention, I need all your materials—text, high-res photos, logo files, and technical logins—delivered fully organized before I build anything. I don’t work in pieces over several weeks. We start only when everything is here.
03
Fees are fixed and non-negotiable.
My listed prices reflect decades of real-world experience, print specs, and copywriting work. I don’t negotiate my rates, discount my expertise to win a contract, or do speculative design work. We work together based on a mutual respect for value.
04
You get direct access to The Solver.
A great working relationship requires us to be completely straight with each other. If a design direction, headline, or layout doesn’t feel right, say so immediately. I’d much rather have an uncomfortable conversation early than an expensive mistake later.
05
We practice radical candor.
A successful creative partnership requires absolute honesty. If a strategic direction, design iteration, or messaging tone does not feel right, say so immediately. I prefer direct, course-correcting feedback early over an expensive pivot late in construction.
06
It’s supposed to be fun — for both of us.
Change hits people differently. Some clients love the shakeup, some find it stressful. Either way, I keep the process itself calm: clear updates, no chaos, no surprises. You set the tone for how you experience it. I make sure the work stays enjoyable and gets finished right.
Still sound like something you want?
Good. Let’s talk.
